🎉 The Launch of Gentle Adventures! 🎉
These courses will sit at the heart of Going Gently. They will flirt with your curiosity. They will enriched our GG community. They won’t solve all your problems but, if you are ready, they will lead you to fresh territory & gentle change.
Each Sunday you’ll receive a reflection including exercises, journal prompts and a question to carry with you. Each Thursday, if you want, you’ll share your experiences with your fellow travellers in our private discussion space & hear how others got on. Read more here: Introduction to Gentle Adventures.
We’ll begin with a month of Mindful Writing from this Sunday the 2nd. Get a taste by reading the first reflection here. Next up is a course on rest, and later there will be Internal Family Systems, Gentle Activism & all requests will be considered!

❓ I write a monthly Gentle Help column with answers to your niggling questions, like this piece on anxiety. If you want to be considered do send me your dilemma - it can be about your relationships, your job, what happens inside your head or anything thorny. We can just use your first name in the reply.

Thank you for your guidance Satya I know from experience that it works. May I also suggest Al-Anon or any of the 12 step programs if your anxiety is linked to someone in your life with an addiction. Al-Anon gave me a safe place, tools, support, coping skills, and I wish I’d found them 40 years earlier. For me it was immediate help (which can include writing and journaling). I don’t attend weekly anymore but I still use the tools they gave me and made some life long friends. My anxiety still gets triggered but now I know how to respond before it becomes all consuming.
