The new tagline feels like it was there all along, so it must be just right. :-)

Ah, so happy to hear that Tara. I was so tempted to go with something 'fancier' - but sometimes ordinary is just right!

Yes 🙌🏽 to This: “getting closer to the ways of talking about things that feel exciting and authentic and unique to me' — with the lens of gentleness to oneself. Shall continue to invite comfort!

So happy for you Satya, how beautiful that you share this process too

Thanks Sarina. I'm never sure about sharing too much of my 'Substack process' as I think it can be a bit irrelevant/boring to folk who don't post here - but this shift felt important to mark. I'm not sure if you prefer Sarina or Sarina Zoe?

Why would a bird change its song, just because someone didn't get it?

Would a flower change its colour to suit a particular pair of eyes?

Your gift of words every month are received with love. They are who you are.

You are perfect as you are, as are your words.

Bless you for everything you do, and all that you are.

Perfect just as I am, and, can use a little improvement 😉 (paraphrasing Suzuki Shunryu)

Love your refined focus. I am refreshed and inspired. Definitely going to take a look into how I can shift my organization too💫

How lovely to hear from you Ashley - I'm so enjoying your book at the moment. Refreshed is such a beautiful word isn't it - I think everything needs refreshing every so often - not necessarily big changes, but refocussing, clarifying, bringing in new strands, remembering what's important etc. Good luck with your looking-with-fresh-eyes, would love to hear what you do!

I love that as a through-line. It all still fits, and now it is easier to see the common thread.

So glad to hear that from you Elaine as you know my writing. Thanks!

Great post; great comments. Supporting you all the way, Satya, from your previous iteration(s) and on into this one. I love your metaphor about cleaning the windows for a clearer, sparkling view.

Aw, appreciate your support as always xx

I've never felt like your writing was confusing or disjointed. You're a complex person with a lot to express. The core of your writing for me, has been appreciating that journey of self-discovery, self-love, and the reminders of how complicated life can be as we strive to learn ourselves, how to be in the world, and how to embody love and kindness to ourselves and others.

Thanks Virginia. The writing will remain complex - and the helping-people-to-find-it has been streamlined and improved! So glad my writing resonates.

The essence of your writing - helping us all be kinder to ourselves - has always felt quite clear to me. Through all of your posts, it's been the connecting thread. It's what brings me back and look forward to reading your work. Very grateful for it

I'm so glad to hear that Helen. Sounds like in your opinion I got my new tagline right 😊

My Substack is a mixture of many things, because I am a mixture of many things. It’s human. I love seeing the different parts of people. Means they aren’t one dimensional.

Thanks Tamsin I'm totally with you - I'll continue to bring lots of different aspects of me here. Being human is one of the things I love to write about the most!

Slight identity crisis, my title is the unreliable narrator. I feel sorry for my burgeoning subscriber list of 8, as I will rarely live up to their expectations. Unless of course they like one or two posts a year… sometimes though I surprise myself.

Carry on doing you - thank goodness we're not all the same or approaching this the same way 😊

I like seeing all the parts of you and don't particularly care if they're muddled. I like muddled. People, I find, are fairly muddled.

Don't worry Robyn I can guarantee there will still be lots of muddle within my writing. It'll hopefully just be easier to orient / find what you want! So hoping to unmuddle the system of delivery rather than the complexity of the writing, if that makes sense. Sending love hope your Sunday is going ok? Morning there?

Oh, good. Yes, Sunday morning. Sunshine. Good day.

I've found that revisiting stuff like this is profoundly effective at telling folks what to expect! I hope it helps a ton. Claire seems to be really good at spotting stuff like that. Respect!

Thanks Andrew. Yes I found the process so helpful in encouraging a clarification of what I really want to offer - what lights me up - in some ways only minor tweaks, but hopefully ones that will make it easier for new folk to 'latch on'. I'm not always great at asking for help so that's a win too! Glad you find the process helpful too & glad to have you here.

You bet, I am rooting for you. And, I can really relate: I am often surprised at how different what I think other people think is, from what they actually think! You talk about this sort of thing often and have made an intense study of it with your life in a way, and I guess I'm sort of on a similar journey, through the school of hard knocks!

Ack, I hate those hard knocks. They can end up instructive but they hurt! And yes, I get that. We'll keep on learning I guess. And it's very lovely to be rooted for. Just noticed the double meaning of the word root... Nice!
