I am just getting to know and accept my parts ..I am convinced IFS is the part of healing that has been missing from therapeutic processes before...I have recently put pics representing myself at different stage of my life and it gives me a little more clarity about parts and their roles..following along ..parts and all!

I love IFS! The work I've done on therapy combining IFS with EMDR has been powerful abs fruitful.

You had me at kittens, Satya, but I subscribed for the way your words made me feel. ♥️ Thank you!

My partner and I are currently in the process of having her father moved into a care home as his Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia (double whammy) continue to develop. It’s horrible to go through and laced with uncomfortable emotions but it’s vital to engage with them in order to be able to process them and, eventually, let them go. Otherwise, we know we’ll just succumb to them. Your process is a wonderful way or articulating this experience and understanding in such a way that makes that far more possible. Lovely piece, thank you.

Thanks for this as I needed to read this now. I needed something calming to read and to remind me to slow down..

I love this. I would ready enjoy a course about CLEAR, it feels like something I could really use while I unpack old programming with my therapist.

Everything about this post is gentle: the kittens, the writer, the guidance (it's hard to look away from the kittens, I must admit!)
